OneLogin Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an extra layer of security for your online accounts. It adds an additional step to the login process, making it much harder for hackers to gain access to your information even if they steal your password.
At MassArt, we are using OneLogin as our MFA provider.

You will be required to use it when logging into any application that uses Single-Sign On (SSO), including:
- All Google Workspace applications, including email, Drive, Calendar, Chat, Meet, Docs, and Classroom
- Adobe Creative Cloud applications and service
- MassArt Connect
- Ellucian Colleague, including Self-Service interfaces and UI6
- Other Ellucian products and services, including Experience, Insights, and CRM Advise
- Zoom
- LinkedIn Learning
- TeamDynamix
- WebCheckOut
MFA is linked to Single sign-on (SSO), which allows a user to login with a single ID to any of several related, yet independent, software systems, applications and services. In other words, once you have logged into one of the applications/services listed above, and successfully completed the MFA process for that login, you should be able to load other services using the same web browser session, without having to re-authenticate. For example, if you log in to Gmail successfully, you should be able to load MassArt Connect with the same web browser without having to re-authenticate.
Once enrolled in MFA, you will be required to authenticate with the OneLogin app every seven (7) days on each device and in any browser you use to access these applications. This new step may initially feel inconvenient but will quickly become a habit.
Currently there are five (5) options for authentication
Note
You should have a primary and a back up authentication option so please choose 2 options.
