This article provides instructions on accessing the MassArt Experience (aka Ellucian Experience) interface, which is available using any modern web-browser. Experience is used primarily by students, faculty and staff as a portal to get centralized information and communications, and to gain access to other MassArt services.
Colleague Self-Service and UI7 Best Practices
- Ellucian, the vendor that develops, markets, sells and supports Colleague, recommends using the Google Chrome Browser in Icognito Mode. Icognito mode erases files cached on your device between sessions, and can help prevent issues accessing or using Colleague.
- Please regularly clear your browser cache if you are not using Icognito or Private browsing mode on your browser.
Accessing MassArt Experience
- Visit https://experience.elluciancloud.com/mcoaad961/ using any modern browser.
- If you are not already logged in to your massart.edu email account, you will be re-directed to Google's familiar authentication prompt:

Enter complete massart.edu email address (e.g., netid@massart.edu)–NOT just your NetID–in the Email or Phone field and click Next.

Enter the same password you use for your email in the Enter your password field, and click Next.
- In the event you see the following window, enter your NetID–not your entire massart.edu email address. The NetID is all of the characters before the @massart.edu in your email address.

- You will be directed to Colleague's Self-Service interface. What you see in the interface varies depending on your role as a student, faculty or staff member.
