How to install and configure OneLogin

OneLogin is our 2-Factor Authentication, also known as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), provider to your many of your campus accounts. Along with your MassArt password, we will now require a security factor in OneLogin. For your primary security factor, we recommend using the OneLogin Protect app.

**You will need both a computer and smartphone for this setup.

1. On your computer

  • Select OneLogin Protect  as the Authentication Factor to enroll with.

2. On your smartphone

Download the OneLogin Protect app from the Google Play or Apple Store

3. On your computer

Once you have the app installed on your phone, come back to the computer, and Click Activate

4. On your smartphone

  • Open the OneLogin Protect app
  • Click on the + to add your first account

Note
If you receive a message, “Protect would like to Access the Camera used to scan QR-codes”, click OK. This is necessary to be able to scan the barcode.

5. On your smartphone

Place the OneLogin QR code presented on your computer screen into the square on the camera of your mobile device to scan the QR code.

When the code is accepted, the mobile app displays a green check and refreshes displaying your account ready to authenticate.

Note
>>Important. Once installed DO NOT DELETE OneLogin Protect from your mobile device. You will need it each time you are required to authenticate.<<
