Lost, Missing or Stolen Equipment

Service Description:

This service provides assistance to faculty, and staff in the event of a lost or stolen college-owned computer. The IT Department will offer guidance on reporting the incident, securing data, and recovering or replacing the device.

  1. Incident Reporting & Tracking

  2. Data Security & Protection

    • Remote lock and/or wipe (if applicable)

    • Assistance with changing passwords for college accounts

    • Review of potential data breaches and mitigation steps

  3. Device Recovery Assistance

    • Collaboration with campus security and local law enforcement

    • Assistance in tracking lost or stolen college-owned devices (if tracking is enabled)

  4. Replacement Support
