Data Integration

Service Description:

Data Integrations enables the secure and reliable exchange of information between MassArt systems, applications, and external services. This service supports integrations involving Ellucian Colleague, reporting and data systems, identity and access services, and third-party applications. Requests may include establishing new integrations, configuring automated data exchanges, importing or exporting data, connecting systems through APIs or other integration methods, modifying existing integrations, or troubleshooting data flows.

Initial review and acknowledgement within 5 business days. Because integration requests vary significantly in complexity, an implementation timeline will be established after requirements are gathered and the technical approach, dependencies, and resources have been assessed.

Request Requirements

Data integration requests should identify the business need, sponsoring department or project, systems involved, and the type of information that needs to be exchanged. Where available, include the desired implementation timeline, data requirements, vendor or application contacts, and any existing technical or integration documentation. IT will work with the requesting department and applicable vendors or system owners to gather detailed technical requirements, assess feasibility and security considerations, identify dependencies, and establish an implementation timeline.
