As an F-1 international student, selling your artwork in the U.S. is considered unauthorized employment unless you have received specific authorization. Without the proper authorization, you could be in violation of your current immigration status and jeopardize any future status in the United States.
In certain circumstances, F-1 international students may be permitted to sell artwork while on post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT).
