Add an image to knowledge article

Overview

Adding images to knowledge articles can be helpful for customers to understand directions. Not every step requires images so be purposeful when using images.

1. Open the article in edit mode if necessary.
2. Go to the location where you want the image to appear. 
3. Click the Image icon.
4. Click the Upload tab.
5. Click Choose File.
6. Locate the file on your desktop or
7. Click Send it to the Server.
8. At the File Uploaded successfully! dialog click close
9. Go to the Image Info tab.
10. Enter appropriate Alternative Text. In line button or icon images should not have alt text. 

You can re size the image in this tab. Be sure the Lock Ratio padlock is locked.   Images should be no wider than 600 pixels.
