Does MassArt charge for online payments?

If you make a payment using a credit/debit card, you will be charged a non-refundable processing fee on the total amount paid. There is NO fee for electronic check payments.

Is there any verification proving that my payment went through electronically
What happens if my payment is returned unpaid by my bank?
Do I have to enroll for MassArt's health plan or can I waive it?

Please visit our Insurance page for more information.

I have an outside scholarship not listed on the bill. What do I do?

A copy of the scholarship letter should be given to Student Financial Assistance. They will apply the scholarship to your Pending Aid.

What if I add classes after the billing deadline?

If your registration changes from less-than regular enrollment (6 credits or less) to full time/regular enrollment (anything over 6 credits), your bill will increase and the difference will be due immediately. If you are a grad student, the added registered credit(s) balance will be due immediately.

Please note, all matriculated students attending 3/4 time or more are required to have health insurance to attend MassArt. The credit limit for undergraduate programs is 9 or more credits, graduate programs 7 or more credits. Please keep in mind changing the number of credits you are enrolled in by the end of Add Drop could affect your need for insurance.

What if I drop classes during add/drop?

If you are still registered for more than 6 credits, then your tuition charge will not change, though your financial aid might. Please contact the Financial aid office if you are taking less than 12 credits. If you drop to 6 credits or less, then your tuition charge will decrease. Any credit balance after the end of the add/drop period will be refunded.
